UPCOMING PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR ADVANCING MARICOPA GENERAL PLAN UPDATE

The Advancing Maricopa General Plan - Planning & Zoning Commission Draft was released on Thursday, March 5, 2026. This draft of the General Plan Update for the City of Maricopa had its first public hearing before the Maricopa Planning & Zoning Commission on Monday, March 23, 2026 at the Maricopa Library & Cultural Center. No decision on recommendation to City Council from the Planning & Zoning Commission was given at this first public hearing.

 

The second public hearing before the Planning & Zoning Commission is scheduled for Monday, April 27th at the City Council Chambers. Anyone wishing to appear and make comment on the Draft General Plan is encouraged to attend. Written comments are welcome and if received prior to the meeting, will be included in the record.
