REVIEW PERIOD FOR DRAFT
GENERAL PLAN UPDATE HAS ENDED 

The community review period for the Draft Advancing Maricopa General Plan concluded on Friday, February 6th, 2026. During the review period feedback and comments were received and collected from residents, local stakeholders, public agencies, and other members of the community. Following integrating the comments and feedback received on the Draft Plan, the Advancing Maricopa General Plan Update looks to move toward consideration from the Maricopa Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council in Spring 2026. In the meantime, the Draft General Plan published on December 8, 2025 can still be viewed by clicking on the below "View the Draft General Plan" button. ​
